Everton are one of three Premier League clubs that have been alerted to the availability of Real Madrid winger Pedro Leon after the player turned down a move to Getafe.According to talkSPORT, the other clubs after Leon are Aston Villa and Fulham. The player only signed for Real Madrid last Summer but has failed to hold down a first-team spot and is likely to leave the Bernabeu in this transfer window.
However, the winger turned down a move to Getafe and reports in Spain suggest he would welcome the opportunity to move to the Premier League, probably on a loan deal.
Leon, 24, would provide a replacement for Seamus Coleman, who was this week ruled out for a lengthy period of time after suffering a torn ligament in his ankle.
